December 11th is the day.  Everything in the shop will be on sale.  But, we also have a treat.  From 5:00pm - 8:00pm, we will have free wine and coffee tasting and a wonderful blown glass display.  All are local businesses.

The winery that will be doing the free tasting is Tahoe Ridge Winery at http://www.tahoeridge.com .  They grow some grapes just out of Minden Nevada, and have a great tasting room in Minden.  Their wines are equally comparable to any wines we have tasted in Napa, Ca, but much more affordable.  This is a great way to broaden your horizons in wine, and support a new and growing local business.

Tim of Wood Fire Roasted Coffee Co. is a local roaster here in Reno, Nv.  He as a small store front just off Mill St. and just west of Edison Dr, at 30 Ohm Pl #2.  He has a unique wood roaster that he uses to roast the coffee beans.  He acquires beans from all over the world, and he knows the best roast for any given bean, light, dark, or anything in-between.  If you like a certain style/roast of coffee, he will be able to tell you which bean, roasted a given way will impart the flavors you are looking for.  He makes the perfect coffee for any holiday gathering.

Art Seymour is a world recognized glass artist.  He is most well known for his "Chevron Beads" which have international acclaim.  He, and his beads are even listed in Wikipedia.  The beads come from an old glass blowing art started in Venice, Italy in the 15th century.  He also hand blows/crafts stunning glass vases and other decorative items.  These blown glass works of art would make the centerpiece of any room.  These pieces can stand alone.  Art Seymour is also a local artist from the Reno, Fallon area.

So please come down to Great Basin Bicycles on Dec 11th, from 5:00p - 8:00p to see what our local area, and local businesses have to offer you.  It is a night you won't forget.
